18 Months Old

Here we go again another age update. Ashelyn turned 18 months on July 5th and we are celebrating because she gets to go to nursery at church. Hooray! She has done great with going to nursery-no crying and no fear when we leave her. She seems to hold her own with all the kids. She has become a feisty little thing lately and very talkative. She knows how to get what she wants. For example today she was on a chair in the living room and I was nursing in my bedroom and she was screaming, "MOM,MOM,MOM" Finally I said, Yes Ashelyn, and she said, "HELP PLEASE!" She was standing up and needed help down. I couldn't believe it. My little baby is really communicating. Oh and I love this bathing suit on her. Old Navy for $6! Cant beat that! She is getting so tall and thin.

Everyone that know Ashelyn well knows she has a shoe obsession. When you ask her where her feet are she points to her feet and says SHOE. Daily she walks around in all of our shoes. She routinely brings me socks to put on her so I can put on her sneakers. Today she even put on her own crocs. I guess shes sick of waiting for me to do it(:

In this picture you can see her hand in her mouth. She is teething SO bad. She has gotten almost all her teeth within the last three months and still has two to go. Poor thing! Thank heavens for her Binky and Silky. They have helped her through it.

I couldn't do this post without mentioning her favorite word. EWWW. She thinks everything is eww. Watch out if you are a female and come close to her wearing shorts because she will feel your legs to make sure you have shaved, and if you haven't she will announce to everyone, EWWW!
