Irelyns Blessing

Last Sunday Jake blessed our sweet baby girl. We finally were able to figure out a date to do it after such a busy few months. Everything turned out great and we loved having family and friends there to support us during such a special occasion. Irelyn of course was the star of the day in her beautiful white gown we had made by a small business in Utah called, "You be Blessed". Due to Irelyns chunk, we were very lucky the dressed buttoned, but it did, and she looked stunning! She was also styling in her two different hair clips that was made by yours truly.

Jake gave her an amazing blessing that brought many to tears. He blessed her to know that she is loved by her family, he blessed her to marry a worthy man in the Temple, he mentioned that she has a special spirit that has the ability to touch others. And to our surprise he blessed her to go on a mission! Jake says, "it just came to me". I think it would be awesome to have her go on a mission. With no sons, it would be pretty great to send a missionary out.

I had a great opportunity to bear my testimony to my family and friends. We had in attendance, Nana, Jess, Christian, Heather and her family, Kim, The Babbitts, The OBiers, Grandma and Grandpa. Its not often I get my so many of my loved ones in one room, I couldnt resist going up and sharing testimony. The spirit was very strong and I felt a strong connection with my Heavenly Father. It was a very special meeting.

Its so hard these days to get a family shot with all of these little energetic girls. Heres our best attempt.

The lunch afterwards was yummy (Carni Asada, rice, beans, fruit and hot dogs for the kids). We had a fun time eating, chatting, and playing. All the kids got along great and it turned out to be a very special day.
