Binky Babies

Lately these two have developed a special relationship. It started with Ashelyn pretending to feed her with fake food to feeding her real food! I found Ashelyns breakfast in Irelyns mouth on morning. Apparently Irelyn likes croissants(: They share silkys, binkys, and even clothes! The 15 month old age gap allows them to share 12 month clothes. They also light up with smiles every time they see each other. When Irelyns crying upstairs Ashelyn comes to get me saying, "Babies crying!". She repeats it until I go get her. Ashelyn is also very protective of her sissy. Yesterday her cousin Landan was trying to touch her and Ashelyn wasnt sure of his intentions so she put her hand in front of him so he couldn't touch her, and she was serious! When Irelyn was teething I couldnt soothe her all night. In the morning we went to get Ashelyn out of her crib. Ashelyn did her usually "Hi Baby!" and Irelyn lit up with the biggest smile. I couldnt believe it. Her mood was changed and she sat and played with Ashelyn for a half hour before she fell asleep. Im so happy I have these two so close. Its A LOT of work, but I feel like they were meant to be together in our family.
