Frog Pond

Christian and Jess were here today, so we decided to take them on the hike to frog pond.

The kids had fun running up the hills and catching FROGS or should I say tadpoles. Jess started catching them and then Maddie went crazy and caught a bunch. We held them in a baggie and caught them with our empty water bottles. They are in the water table in the backyard. The kids had a blast! It was beautiful day and wild flowers are in bloom, so it turned out to be a great outing. IMG_0272

Of course Brookelyn complained about the hike. I know she enjoys herself, but she definitely rather be at home playing princesses.

Maddie on the other hand didnt want to leave. She LOVED catching the tadpoles. Such a nature girl!

Then on the way home there was a broken sprinkler, so the kids cooled off…aww.. I love warm days!

Then when we got home we had a fun filled package from the Q-berrys that included Princess and the Frog, which was totally appropriate for our frog day! Brookee got more b-day presents. She was back to her princess playing in no time!

The girls sure loved their Easter presents. Thanks Q-berrys!
