What a week! Why? I got little to no sleep until Friday night. My sleep deprivation was so bad Jake had to stay home friday from work just to let me rest. Not to mention he was also exhausted from being up for 2 nights.
Why no sleep? Well besides having the normal newborn duties through out the night.....
Ashelyn has four HUGE molars coming in and she had a fever for two nights straight. Needless to say she was miserable and cried for those two nights. On friday Jake took her to the Dr. to see if there was something else going on and just as we thought the Dr. said that it was her teeth causing all the problems. After the second night of no sleep Jake made the comment, "Now I know why everyone thinks were crazy for having all these kids so close in age". We were SO EXHAUSTED! Luckily I have a great ward and friends. Kate and Sheridan took the older girls those two hard days for play dates and park day and Bethany has been bringing the girls home from pre-school.
And thanks to Lindsay I got myself out to Target by myself to help me feel human again. She knows me well! Target always does the trick! My friend Lauren once told me, "shopping is cheaper than therapy!" I guess that depends on where you shop, but I think Target counts.
Thank you wonderful helpful friends!
Finally Friday comes along and both babies slept most of the night. I woke up Saturday feeling like a different person. I got ready and took Brookee and Irelyn to a Memorial Service for Nana-Heathers Grandma and then from there headed to a new member ward dinner with the rest of the fam. We had a great time! It was nice to get out and be with family and friends.

I am so grateful this week ended on a better note considering I didnt think those sleepless night would leave me sane again.
I am most definitely looking forward to a better week!

You poor babies! Lack of sleep is so hard--glad it got a little better.
Target is a magical place! I'm glad you're doing better! That's good that you're lucky to have such helpful girls in your ward! I'm also glad that I went onto Facebook for the fourth time that day, for no reason at all, at the right time.
I love that last picture! Hope next week is better than the last one!
I'm tired just reading your blog... hope it gets better. Kudos to Jake for taking a day off for you.
