Jake

The Good Samaritan
On occasion Jake will take the 3 older girls to the park to give me some down time. Well the other day this was the case (I needed some quiet time) so off they went, and this is the story they came home with:
He ended taking them to a park Im not familiar with, but apparently it is located on a big hill. While at the park with the hill an very old Asian couple were hiking up this hill and looked very tired and lost. They approached Jake with a piece of paper with Asian writing on it that appeared to a map to Pavilions super market. From what Jake understood they were in town visiting their daughter and were on foot trying to get to this store and were very very lost. Jake informed them they were far from their destination and wouldn't make it on foot. So before allowing them on their way my helpful husband asked them if they wanted him to take them to Pavilions. They excitedly agreed and loaded up in the mini van. What is funny about this is that our mini van is full of car seats with little room for extra passengers, but they made due. The man sat shotgun while the wife sat on Irelyns cart seat base. Oh My! I can picture it now!
When they reached Pavilions the couple were so grateful that they bowed all the way down to the ground to thank Jake for his service.
I thought this a cool story. Jake is good guy, but I still cant help but to laugh thinking of this old Asian couple in my kid infested mini van sitting on car seats.
When Maddie was telling me what happen she explained it something like this, "there was a grandma and grandpa in our car mom".
Jakes Girls

Jake recently asked me for a new picture of the girls for his desk at work. So today before church I had him take a picture of "his girls" and to my surprise there was actually one picture with all of us looking at the camera. Thats a big accomplishment around here. If you look closely Maddie and I are matching, Brookelyn and Ashelyn are matching, and Irelyn is just beautiful as ever in her cute white dress.

Good job, Jake! It makes me laugh just picturing the couple bowing down to him, too!

And, hello gorgeous girls! Are you sure you had a baby couple months ago?

What a sweetie pie hubby...taking ALL the kiddos to the park (I think Joe would only be brave enough to take the big boys!)

You look so beautiful...
I agree with Lindsay...you don't even look like you had one baby! I still can't get my last baby fat off...

and the girls...oh, I would SO be in heaven with a house full of girlies!
