About a week ago Jake entered the 30’s! So to celebrate we did our usual cake and presents and then left the girls with Heather and went on a date night at Disneyland! Our friends Matt and Christine went with us and we had a blast riding all the “big” rides. We started out with Tower of Terror, which was SO scary! Im such a wuss!! Then headed to Disneyland. It was so packed but luckily we didn't have 2 double strollers to lug around. We ran from ride to ride like teenagers. It was a blast! I'm so sad I didn't bring my camera):
Turning 30 didn't even phase Jake. I'm pretty sure I was more upset then him. Jake looks at 30 as a time in your life when you start becoming financially secure and getting to a comfortable time in your life. Huh! Are you ever financially secure with 4 girls! Ok, I'm being a little pessimistic. I should give him more credit because when Jake sets his mind to something he usually gets it, so look out 30’s here we come!

Give Jake a Happy Belated Birthday hug for me. I've been kind of pokey in commenting/reading blogs. Must be the time of year. How fun to get to go to Disneyland like two newlyweds!
Tell him welcome to the club, it's really not that bad, we'll see you soon. And I agree with him some what, the 30's is when you start becoming a "real" adult, and start laying down your roots. Can't wait to see you guys in July! And we won't be coming to Cali. like I was hoping the Audi is donzo, so we need a new car.

We were so sad we couldn't join you guys. Glad you had a lot of fun though. Maybe we can all go again once John's busy season is over.
