Snow Day

Maddie has wanted to go to the snow for a couple years now so I thought what better opportunity than Snow Day at The Great Park…umm..yah right! Let me rename it to “Two Patches of Ice Day”. It was pathetic, the snow was ice, the free ice skating was full until 9pm and the sledding was weak! It was so crowded that I decided it would take less time to park outside the park and walk to the entrance. Boy was I wrong! It took Maddie and I 45 minutes to walk it. Luckily it was just us because she is my toughest child. Because we walked all the way we stayed for a few hours. We ended up having a good time considering the amount of people that were there! The coolest part was watching the US Jr. Olympic Ice Skaters.

That shortbread cookie was delicious!

Luckily we didnt have to walk to 45 minutes back. A nice women that worked as a vendor for Peets Coffee drove us to our car. She was very nice. She actually lives just down the street from me and has twin boys in Kindergarten at our elementary school. Small world!

That's why you should live in Utah, then there would be really snow for at least 4 months. It's so fun! (insert sarcasm)
